          ELECTRO  AÇO  ALTONA  S.A.,  founded  on  March  8,
          1924 as a small foundry and mechanical repair office,
          was  initially  named  Auerbach  &  Werner,  from  the
          union  of  their  owners’  names.  The  company  grew
          and  incorporated  steel  in  1933,  changing  its  name   PRODUCTS
          to ELECTRO AÇO ALTONA. In this way, the first steel   ALTONA’s job is to transform material into specific
          foundry of Santa Catarina and one of the first in Brazil   products by melting steel, sand molding, treating
          started.  Working  and  innovating  every  time  more,   according  to  specifications  and  finishing  by
          ALTONA has been continuously growing in partnership   machining  process.  Altona  acts  in  16  markets,
